The Industrial and Mining Water Research Unit (IMWaRU - Unité de recherche minière et industrielle de l'eau) est un groupe de recherche basé à l'École de génie chimique et métallurgique de l'université de Witwatersrand, à Johannesburg[1].

Description

L'unité traite avec de nombreux problèmes de l'eau liées à l'industrie et l'exploitation minière[2].

Les membres du groupe ont eu des présentations aux conférences suivantes :

Le groupe offre une large gamme de publications de recherche dans les domaines énumérés ci-dessous :

  • Les marais artificiels[3].
  • L'empreinte de l'eau[13],[14].
  • Drainage minier acide[15].
