Il fait ses débuts à la New Japan Pro Wrestling le 10 juillet 2020, lors de Lion's Break Collision en battant The DKC[2].
Ring of Honor (2020)
Le 2 octobre 2020, il fait ses débuts à la Ring of Honor en participant au ROH Pure Championship Tournament, il perd au premier tour contre Tracy Williams[3].
World Wrestling Entertainment (2020-2021)
Le 2 décembre 2020, la WWE annonce sa signature et qu'il rejoindra le WWE Performance Center[4].
Débuts, Diamond Mine et départ (2020-2021)
Il fait ses débuts le 2 décembre à NXT dans un segment Thatch-as-Thatch Can avec Timothy Thatcher en tant qu'élève de Thatcher sous le nom de ring Tyler Rust[5].Plus tard dans la nuit, il a été vu dans les coulisses en train de parler à Malcolm Bivens. Le 16 décembre à NXT, il perd contre Tommaso Ciampa[6]. Le 20 janvier à NXT, il est accompagné par Malcom Bivens qui devient son manager mais il perd contre Bronson Reed[7].
Le 22 juin 2021, il est révèlé que Rust fait partie du clan Diamond Mine avec Hachiman, Malcom Bivens et Roderick Strong[8].
Le 6 août 2021, il est renvoyé par la WWE[9].
